With the demanding changes to our nation’s healthcare system, it takes knowledge of not only medical transcription and speech recognition editing but the ability to network with key players within the industry to bring about the desired outcome of our clients, to provide an exceptional method of patient record documentation, and most importantly to alleviate the burden of documentation from the shoulders of the physicians so they can get back to what they do best – treating their patients! Therefore, it is with both purpose and passion that QualScript strives to bring excellence of service to every client by listening to their needs and developing partnerships that will ultimately produce the desired effect of document delivery and integration with each client’s electronic healthcare record (EHR) platform.
QualScript Welcomes New Owners
In 2022, Shane and Katie Henry purchased QualScript, LLC from the original owners and founders, Gayle Faggetti and Pat McCarver. QualScript’s vision remains the same through this transition and continues to provide an exceptional level of service to the medical community.
QualScript now shares an office with Shane Henry & Associates, PLLC.
Shane is an attorney at law, serves on the board of directors at Centennial Bank, and general counsel for Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. He also is a pilot.
Katie is also an attorney and serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Central Arkansas. She has served on the Conway Christian School Board and the UCA Alumni Board. Katie and Shane serve on the K-Life board as well.
They have two children, Cooper and Anna Kate.
Gayle H. Faggetti, CHDS, AHDI-F
RETIRED
Gayle is a graduate of Baptist School of Nursing and Allied Health, and she has owned and operated medical transcription and speech-recognition editing service companies since 1993. She earned the AHDI credential of Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) in 2006 and Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist (CHDS) in 2018. She was designated a Fellow of AHDI in 2009.
Pat McCarver, CMT, AHDI-F
RETIRED
Pat is a 1994 graduate of Baptist School of Nursing and Allied Health in Medical Transcription. Pat is co-founder and co-owner of QualScript since 2006 beginning as Director of Quality Assurance and now in charge of Independent Contractors.
Lynette Shipp, RHIT, CHDS, AHDI-F
Lynette joined QualScript in 2019. She earned the AHDI credential of CMT in 2003 and CHDS in 2013. She was designated a Fellow of AHDI in 2005. After completing an associate degree in health information management from UAMS in 2013, she earned RHIT certification. She is an active member of AHDI and AHIMA.
Janette Willis, CHDS
Janette began transcribing with QualScript in 2000 and in June of 2007 assumed her current role at QualScript which includes quality assurance, document editing, management and distribution of work flow and document delivery. She received her CHDS certification 2019. She is an active member of AHDI.
